STOLEN GOLD A 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝 is a portrait I did as a homage to my Cousin 𝐌𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐊𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐓𝐄 𝐂𝐥é𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞, who passed away on 25th March 2023. Clémence, you were my cousin by blood, but gold to everyone who knows you. Your death has brought grief that is beyond description. Your love, presence, smile and other qualities were incomparable. For sure, you are the 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐧 𝐆𝐨𝐥𝐝, as I tried to describe you. We will miss you.	ISINE Isine is one of the cow names according to its coat(skin) color in Rwandan culture. Isine Cow is a cow with greyish-black color coat. And in Rwanda, someone who gives you cow means he/she gives you wealth (prosperity). It is in this way that this portrait was made for the Jean Yves Bayingana & Diane Umunezero family as a wish of prosperity to their new family.	QUEEN ELIZABETH II I drew this portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II as an act of paying homage to her.	MY CHOICE, FLAME OF HOPE This Portrait depicts a message that is based on the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi. One can see bodies of the victims of the Genocide, a child who symbolizes all ages and all genders, wearing bloody clothes, has an amputated part of his right hand and scars on his head and is running with a flame of fire in the darkness of the forest. This reflects that no matter the impact and suffering the Genocide caused, Rwandans have the Hope of living and forgiveness symbolized by the flame of fire.
IMPANO Impano is a Rwandan word meaning gift. I made this portrait for His Excellency Amb Dr Ron Adam of Israel in Rwanda to illustrate how much of a gift he is to the people of Rwanda. The full message has been given to the owner.	MBWIRA MBWIRA (Kinyarwanda word) which means Tell Me. The inspiration of this art came from the song Mbwira by a rwandan gospel artist Israel Mbonyi; reason to why the portrait is called MBWIRA. The art reflects the better times (illustrated by people raising hands, praising God and the lightening stage) & hard times (thus, the use of an old coat). The overall message behind this, is: MBWIRA (Tell Me); in every season, will you still remember that my Goodness is the one that carries you?	MY HOPE The Portrait reveals Hope, the reason why it is called My Hope. This Hope is anchored in Isaiah 43:2 "When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze."	CHIC CHIC signifies Elegance.
BOUGH BOUGH, which means the main branch of a tree; used figuratively to illustrate her history.	CALLED TONIGHT The inspiration for this painting came from her song "Called Tonight".	AfrUbuhle AfrUbuhle is composed by two words, Africa and Ubuhle. Ubuhle is a Zulu word which means beauty. In one word, AfrUbuhle implies African Beauty.	LA FÉERIE La Féerie is a French word, means: Monde fantastique(Fantastic World); Spectacle d'une merveilleuse beauté(Show of marvelous beauty); Feu d'artifice(Fireworks). (From French dictionary Larousse). The initiative and inspiration of this portrait came from the alluring natural beauty of her face when she smiles, which implied me also to name it La Féerie.
UMUGONGO Umugongo is a Kinyarwanda word. Here it reveals this person in two ways. • Umugongo as a Back which is used as a noun to mean Support. • Umugongo in the singular of Imigongo. Imigongo is a Rwandan craft which is the symbol of incredible resilience and ingenuity. In brief, that's the personality of this person.	EXODUS The word Exodus was adopted in English (via Latin) from the Greek Exodos, which literally means "the road out". ~ merriam-webster.com The Exodus Portrait was given to these beautiful people on their wedding day as a celebratory gift for their new journey as a couple.	SODJA Sodja is a slang meaning Soldier. Normally we know that a soldier is a fighter for his country or for the people's peace(progress). Likewise, Sodja Portrait is an idea that illustrate the person painted who his name is Luckman as a soldier but in the entertainment field. He is really a sodja who boosted many artist through his different platforms.	EBUN Name EBUN is of Yoruba origin, a language spoken in West Africa and means '' Being a Gift ''. The person that you see, she is really a Gift. And every color on her carries meaning.
HARMONY The idea behind this painting is the harmony brought to every listener of his songs causing them to love those songs.
